As part of the federal government’s mandate to only use contractors that have certain security and controls in place, a national construction company reached out to XL-Lead Consulting for assistance in becoming CUI Compliant.

Analysis Stage

• CUI Requirements were read and understood to better scope what changes would need to take place at the client to ensure compliance
• Guidance was sought from external subject matter experts
• Determination was made regarding what recommendations we would proceed with
• A project plan was created to ensure the greatest impact in the shortest time frame

Design and Build

• In collaboration with various technology and infrastructure teams, the agreed upon controls and security mechanisms were put in place

Implementation

• Communication of all changes were sent out throughout the organization
• Next phase changes were discussed and planned
