We all know a Super Woman, get to know one of ours

At XL-Lead we love getting to know our clients and candidates and putting them into the spotlight. We are excited to do the same with more members of our team. In honor of Women’s History Month, this segment of our talent spotlight we are celebrating Katrina Tracy. We sat down with Katrina and asked her a handful of questions so you could learn a bit more about her both personally and professionally. Here is what we found out!

Q: What is your current position/tile at XL-Lead?
A: Office Manager

Q: What was your previous role before XL-Lead? What led you to joining the company?
A: CFO for Lone Star Trucking as well as payroll and bookkeeping for High Output Construction. I was looking for a change of pace in a different line of work away from Transporation.

Q: When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: I really didn’t have a picked career i just knew I wanted to be successful and the best I could be in life.

Q: What do you see for yourself and/or XL-Lead in the next 5 years?
A: I see a lot of growth personally learning new skills from amazing colleagues that I have gotten the opportunity to work with at Xl-Lead. I see Xl-Lead expanding into different lines of consultants to broaden their ability to staff more companies and expand.

Q: If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? Why?

A: I would pick my Grandpa who if I could have one more day with him, I would let him know how much I appreciate all he did for me growing up and the values and work ethic he instilled in my core.


Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?
A: I would spend 3 months in Europe seeing all the things that are on my bucket list. I of course would need those expenses to include my family =)

Q: What is something about you most people don’t know or would be surprised to find out about you?  I’m not a good swimmer
OR What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I like to travel and workout and Bake, please don’t mistake that for cook. I have recently tried to learn the sour dough craze.
